Asia-Tropical: Borneo present (Kalimantan present, Sarawak present); Philippines (Philippines present), Leyte present
Malesia: Borneo (Sarawak and Kalimantan), Philippines (Leyte, once).
Notes
Size and shape of leaves are very variable in S. odoratissima; var. wenzelii possesses the larger and most hairy leaves. The flowers are exactly matching those of var. odoratissima and with collections without fruit it is not always possible to decide to which variety they belong.
