Trevesia rufo-setosa

Description

A shrub with stout prickly stems, young parts, petioles and inflorescence densely covered with red-brown flat setae. Leaves palmately lobed, clustered at the ends of the shoots; Inflorescence terminal; Flowers heterosexual. Petals 5, triangular, 6 mm long, setose on the outside, spreading. Stamens 5. Ovary in the fertile flowers obconic, setose, 5-celled; Fruit unknown.
