Asia-Tropical: Borneo present (Sabah present); Philippines (Philippines present); Vietnam (Vietnam present), Balabac present, Palawan present, Panay present, S Luzon present, Sibuyan present

Vietnam; Malesia: Philippines (S Luzon, Panay, Sibuyan, Palawan, Balabac), Borneo (Sabah).

Morphology

The largest specimens from Vietnam are considerably larger than any from Malesia (one has a basal pinna 55 cm long) but otherwise show no difference.
