Description

Root-climber. Branchlets drying brown; internal hairs abundant to sparse. Leaves in lax spirals to distichous; stipules (1-)1.5-2.5 cm long, sparsely to densely minutely appressed-puberulous, caducous. Stamen 1.

Asia-Tropical: Philippines (Philippines present)

Taxonomy

This species shows clear affinities to F. apiocarpa, from which it differs, e.g., in the shorter and unbranched or faintly branched basal lateral veins and rarely branched or furcate other lateral veins.
