Description

Root-climber. Branchlets drying brown. internal hairs sparse and small. Leaves distichous; stipules 0.4-0.6 cm long, ± densely and minutely appressed-puberulous, caducous or subpersistent. Stamen 1.

Distribution

Asia-Tropical: Borneo present (Sabah present), Mt Kinabalu present
Borneo (Sabah: Mt Kinabalu).

Taxonomy

This species resembles F. cataupi (from the Philippines) in the small laminas and the short petioles, but it differs in the more numerous lateral veins, impressed above, and in the depressed-globose fig receptacle.
