Branchlets drying brown (to blackish);
internal hairs rather abundant.
Leaves distichous;
stipules (0.5-)1-1.5 cm long, densely minutely puberulous to glabrous, caducous.

Asia-Tropical: New Guinea present
Notes
2 On the leafy twigs the minute brown trichomes are sometimes dense and form a powdery layer.
