Description

Root-climber. Branchlets drying brown. internal hairs sparse and small. Leaves distichous; stipules 0.4-0.8 cm long, glabrous, caducous. Stamen 1.

Distribution

Asia-Tropical: Philippines (Philippines present), Mindanao present
Philippines (Mindanao).

Taxonomy

1This species show affinities to F. cavernicola, as in the size of the lamina (mostly shorter than 10 cm) and the short petiole (up to 1 cm long), features by which these two species differ from the set of larger-leaved species with consistently foveolate laminas from northern Borneo. 2It also shows affinities to F. barba-jovis.
