Description

Tree up to 10 m tall. internal hairs sparse, white. Leaves spirally arranged; stipules semi-amplexicaul, 0.5-1 cm long, brown strigillose, subpersistent or caducous.

Distribution

Eastern present
New Guinea (eastern).

Notes

2 The species is probably related to F. porphyrochaete. 1This species is unusual in the subgenus in the presence of flagelliflory. Moreover, the tepals of the pistillate flowers are distinctly connate.
