Description

Shrub up to 2 m tall. Branchlets drying (red-)brown. internal hairs absent or few. Leaves distichous; stipules semi-amplexicaul to amplexicaul, 0.3-0.5 cm long, puberulous, keeled, caducous.

Distribution

Asia-Tropical: Sumatera (Sumatera present), Central present, Western present
Sumatra and Java (western and central).

Morphology

This species is distinct in the occurrence of uncinate hairs, an unusual type of indumentum in Ficus.
