Asia-Tropical: New Guinea present, Idenburg River present

Malesia: New Guinea. Known only from type and Brass 13047 from Idenburg River.

This is near S. aquatilis (no. 44), differing in narrower pinnae, veins free, and lower surface quite glabrous; the two should perhaps be united.
