Description

Rhizome longuement rampant, portant un manchon de poils noirs, à frondes espacées. Pétiole de 0,5 à 1 cm, largement ailé à la partie supérieure. Limbe à contour deltoïde, tripinnatifide . Pennes environ 10 paires, contiguës, faisant un angle droit avec le rachis largement ailé, sessiles, ovales-obtuses, longues de I à 1,5 cm sur 0,9 de large, incisées-flabellées. Segments ultimes linéaires, obtus, presque tous les segments du sommet de la fronde fertile étant sorifères. Texture membraneuse. Coloration vert plus ou moins grisâtre sur le sec. Sores à indusie campanulée, marginée, à ouverture dilatée; réceptacle longuement exsert.A

Taxonomy

Nous avons cité, d'une manière erronée, dans les Mém. de I'IFAN, sous le nom de T. africanum, certains échantillons qui se rapportent aux T. borbonicum et T. melanotrichum. Le T. africanum est cité ici du Gabon pour la première foisB
