Description

Shrub or tree up to 5(-8) m tall. Leaves spirally arranged, (sub)opposite or (sub)distichous; stipules (1-)1.5-4 cm long, brown to whitish substrigose to pilose or glabrous, (sub)persistent.

Asia-Tropical: Philippines (Philippines present), Leyte present, Mindanao present, Samar present
Malesia: Philippines (Samar, Leyte, Mindanao).

Notes

The syconia are eaten by civet cats.
