Aristolochia peltata

Primary tabs

Aristolochia peltata

Placement status: name or taxon excluded (unspecific)

Distribution

Hispaniola present, St. Thomas Islands present, eastern Cuba present
This species, cited by Aublet (1775, p. 833) and by Richard Schomburgk (3: 822. 1848), is known only from eastern Cuba, Hispaniola and St. Thomas Islands.

Notes

Schomburgk cited it from the savanna region, Guyana. But we found no specimen from the Guianas referable to Aristolochia peltata, whose 2-lobed leaves are very typical. Same comment as under Aristolochia bilobata.
