Description

Tree, up to 25 m, 40 cm dbh. Leaf-blade (5—)7—16 by (2-) 2.5-6.5 cm; Inflorescences much shorter than the leaves, un-branched; Sepals nearly glabrous outside; Petals yellowish or white, when dry orange, the longest one 8—9(— 11.5) mm; Stamens: Ovary glabrous or less often rather sparsely appressedly hairy and probably soon glabrescent; Fruit globular, upto 1.8 cm diam., dull, wrinkled, light greenish brown;

Distribution

Asia-Tropical: Borneo present (Sabah present, Sarawak present), N. Kalimantan present, Tawau present
Malesia: Borneo (Sarawak, Sabah, Tawau, N. Kalimantan).
