Description

Tree, up to 30 m, 40 cm dbh. Leaf-blade 9-20 by 3.5-11 cm; Inflorescences also in lower leaf axils, un-branched or rarely with one short branch, up to 7 cm long; Sepals: Petals rather thin, white (or yellow?) when fresh, when dry light brown or orange, not covering the stamens in anthesis, the longest one 10.5-12.5 mm; Stamens 8, occasionally 9; Ovary appressedly hairy; Fruit globular, 1.8-2 cm diam., slightly shiny, light brown, faintly appressedly hairy;
