Description

Small tree, up to 15 m, 20 cm dbh. Leaf-blade 3.5-12 by 1.2-5.5 cm; Inflorescences unbranched, shorter than the leaves; Sepals glabrous outside, densely very shortly more or less patently hairy inside at base, further glabrous inside; Petals white, when dry dark reddish, very sparsely appressedly hairy outside, faintly ciliolate apically, the longest one 8 mm long. Stamens: Ovary black, glabrous; Fruit globular, up to 1.3 cm diam., dull, slightly wrinkled, brownish;

Distribution

Asia-Tropical: Borneo present (Brunei present, Sabah present)
Malesia: Borneo (Brunei, Sabah).
