Taxonomy
Knema pulchra is close to the more slenderly built K. piriformis and possibly also related to K. oblongata, which differs in the conspicuous rusty indumentum on twigs, lower leaf surfaces, and flowers. In general habit, not in the shape of the flowers, it recalls K. kostermansiana, also a broad-leaved species.
