Description

Leaves membranous or chartaceous, ovate-oblong to oblong-lanceolate, 10-17 by 2.5-6 cm, on lower surface with subpersistent sparse sessile-stellate hairs 0.2-0.3 mm, mixed with early shed longer hairs leaving hair scars, the hairs on and near midrib and nerves longer persistent. Inflorescences sessile to 2 mm pedunculate. Fruits subglobose or broadly ellipsoid, 1.5—1.8(—2.5, according to Elmer) by 1.4-1.7 cm, with scurfy hairs 0.1 mm long;
