Archidendron harmsii


Tree to 25 m high, to 40 cm in diameter. Branchlets terete, glabrous, lenticellate. Leaves: Stipules and stipular glands absent. Inflorescences terminal or axillary at the distal leaves, glabrous, consisting of pedunculate umbels aggregated into panicles to 10 cm; Flowers tri- or tetra- merous, female or bisexual. Stamens white, to 40 mm, tube equalling the corolla. Ovary solitary, glabrous, sessile. Seeds black, ellipsoid, c. 15 by 10 mm.


Asia-Tropical: Lesser Sunda Is. present, Flores present, Sumba present, Sumbawa present
Malesia: Lesser Sunda Islands (Sumbawa, Sumba, Flores).
