Description

Small shrub to 2 m tall. Branchlets sparsely puberulent, more rarely glabrous or densely puberulent. Leaves: Inflorescence axes pubescent. Sepals 2.5-6.4 mm long, 0.7-1 mm wide at base, narrower for most of length; Stamens inserted at point where corolla tube widens; Ovaries 0.9-1 mm long; Fruit 8.5-19 cm by 2.2-3.5 mm. Seeds 4-9 by 0.8-1.4 mm;

Notes

This species is particularly variable in leaf shape and size. The occurrence of this species in Borneo is known only from a spirit collection in BO from West Kalimantan.
