Description

Branchlets densely golden pubescent. Leaves: Inflorescence terminal, 5-20 cm long; Stamens inserted at 5-5.5 mm from corolla base which is 0.3-0.5 of tube length; Ovaries 1.2 mm high, glabrous; Fruit unknown.

Distribution

Asia-Tropical: Jawa (Jawa present)
Malesia: Java.

Taxonomy

This species is known from only a very few old specimens. It is very similar to C. fragrans but differs in the very small flowers and the densely pubescent inside to the calyx colleters. Further collections may show that it is merely an extreme variation of C. fragrans.
