Description

Large or small woody climber. Branchlets densely puberulent; Leaves: Inflorescence in the axils of leaves (rarely pseudoterminal), much shorter than the leaves, ultimate branches fairly congested, 3-5.7 cm long; Stamens inserted at 3.1-3.5 mm from corolla base; Ovary 1.3-1.4 mm long; Fruit linear, torulose, 35-40 cm by 7-10 mm.

Asia-Tropical: Borneo present
Malesia: Borneo.

Taxonomy

Material determined as this species from Sumatra is here considered to be C. hirtus.
