Cerbera inflata

Description

Tree to 30.5 m tall, mostly smaller, to 60 cm dbh. Bark grey. Leaves: Inflorescence terminal, lax, 8-22 cm long, many-flowered; Sepals ovate to elliptic, 4-8 by 2-7 mm, 1.1-3 times as long as wide, apex rounded to obtuse. Stamens inserted at 9-16 mm from corolla base which is 0.7-0.8 of tube length; Ovaries 1.5-2 mm high; Fruit ellipsoid, 4.5-5 by 2.5-4 by 2.3 cm.
