Parsonsia flavescens

Description

Leaves opposite; Inflorescence of axillary cymes, 2-4 cm long, minutely and sparsely puberulent; Sepals ovate, imbricate, 1.7-2.1 by 0.8-1.2 mm, 1.4-2.3 times as long as wide, apex acute to obtuse, glabrous except for ciliate margin. Stamens inserted at 1.9-2.2 mm from corolla base which is 0.5-0.6 of tube length; Ovary 0.6-0.7 mm long; Fruit (immature) fusiform, smooth.

Asia-Tropical: New Guinea present
Malesia: New Guinea.
