Alyxia linearis


Delicate climbers or scramblers. Branchlets weakly angled, sparsely lenticellate, glabrous. Leaves opposite, coriaceous; Flowers solitary. Sepals ovate, c. 1.2 by 0.8 mm, 1.5 times as long as wide, apex obtuse, ciliate, glabrous. Fruit with 1 article, stalks c. 2 mm long; Seeds c. 4.4 by 3.2 by 3.3 mm.


Asia-Tropical: Philippines (Philippines present), Palawan present
Malesia: Philippines (Palawan).


This is a poorly known species close to A. angustissima.
