Description

Tree c. 15 m, 40-50 cm ø; Branchlets initially densely fulvous tomentose by stellate hairs, later glabrous, sparsely lenticellate; Leaves thick-coriaceous, (10-)12-14 (-15½) by 4-6 cm (index 2-3), broadest at or rarely above the middle; Stipules linear to lanceolate, 8-10 by 2-3 mm. Inflorescence male or androgynous, densely fulvous stellate-hairy;

Asia-Tropical: Malaya (Peninsular Malaysia present), Fraser Hill present, Pahang present, Selangor present
Malesia: Malay Peninsula (Selangor, rare; Fraser Hill, Pahang).
