Lithocarpus crassinervius

Description

Tree 15-20 m, 50 cm ø. Branchlets initially densely set with fulvous, adpressed, stellate hairs, later glabrous, greyish, sparsely lenticellate; Leaves thin-coriaceous, (9-)15-20(-28) by (4-)5-7(-10) cm (index (1.7-)2-3(-3.7)), broadest at or above the middle; Stipules linear-acute, 5-10 by 1-1½ mm, rather long persistent. Fruiting rachis 15-35 cm, 5 mm ø, carrying a few solitary cupules.

Distribution

Asia-Tropical: Jawa (Jawa present)
Malesia: Java (W. and Central parts, rare).
