Description

Tree 10-20 m, 20-30 cm ø; Branchlets initially densely ful-vous-tomentose by adpressed stellate hairs, later subglabrous, greyish, sparsely lenticellate; Leaves thick-coriaceous, (6-)9-12(-16) by (3-)4-5(-8) cm (index 2-3), broadest at or below the middle; Stipules linear-acute, 2-3 by ½ mm, caducous. Inflorescence male, androgynous or mixed, densely yellowish brown to fulvous tomentose by stellate hairs;
