Lithocarpus confragosus

Description

Tree 12-29 m, 25-100 cm ø; Branchlets initially densely greyish brown tomentose by adpressed, stellate hairs, glabrescent, densely warty lenticellate; Leaves thick-coriaceous, rigid, (10-)12-18 (-27) by (3½-)5-7(-10) cm (index 2.2-4.5), broadest about the middle; Stipules linear to lanceolate, 10-15 by 2-3 mm.

Asia-Tropical: Borneo present (Sabah present, Sarawak present); Malaya (Peninsular Malaysia present), Gajo Lands present, N. Sumatra present, Nunukan I present, Nyabau F. R present, Perak present
Malesia: N. Sumatra (Gajo Lands), Malay Peninsula (Perak), Borneo (Sarawak: Nyabau F. R.; Sabah, scattered; Nunukan I.).
