Description
Tree 10-45 m, up to 50 cm ø;
Branchletsinitially densely fulvous to rufous adpressed stellate-hairy, later glabrous, dark, greyish brown, sparsely to densely lenticellate;
Leaves thin-coriaceous, 15-22 by 6-8 cm (index 2-3), broadest at or below the middle;
Stipules narrowly ovate-acute, c. 5 by 2 mm, soon caducous.
Inflorescence male, female or androgynous, densely fulvous stellate hairy;
